i wrote "don't let me atrophy" then sank into my desk chair for
another half a decade, while stars turned blood red
and fell, down, outta the sky, punching craters in earth
i said "it's bad out there, but hey, i gotta work"

and stayed in stasis, slowly decaying within my limbs
better off embalmed, hindsight don't need my Zenni
Opticals, but I'm off the road, crows and ravens squawk for bones
they wanna strip the flesh from, it's not like I can stop the globe

from turning it's the circle of suffering fear and death/
Unless you're hibernating from, weirdness and stress/

That means lightning storms, infernos, and more, curious wonders

We don't see miracles, we get disasters
