Atrophy 02:55
i present myself a new purple heart, every day i exist i might not have no surface scars from the way that i live but i'm hanging suspended in cryogenic abyss plummeting in slow motion to the base of the pit it goes: life's a bungie jump, so i shorten the cord if that defeats the whole endeavor, i dunno what it's for never been a thrill seeker, i'm the sort that'll gorge on safety schemes to keep me north of any fjord in the course the side hustle’s a stayin alive hustle we pray that the right muscles are blessed to survive struggle discarded for spare change, adulthood is costly i flail beneath the surface, tryna breathe without oxygen standing still is hard, but i make it look easy if i could get a trophy for sleeping until it's 3p i'd have a shelf fulla non-participant awards but you don't get the key to the city for being born taking steps is easy, but i turn em to catastrophe subtle self-sabotage artist, behold the masterpiece can't see progression, like the whole idea is blasphemy but still petition those in charge to never let me atrophy don't let me atrophy body don't let me atrophy don't let me atrophy, mental, don't let me atrophy don't let me atrophy, spirit, don't let me atrophy don't let me atrophy, ever, i'll never atrophy glued to the doom tube, tryna find clues why the others keep winnin, why do i lose? even though i spit sicker lyrics than swine flu i got a short list of skills that are fine tuned i be tryin to try, but i'm lying too lying in a fetal ball, trying not to rise too quickly, gotta watch progression, breathe strictly to fill lungs with oxygen and not make it a big thing breath control has blessed my soul actin timid cause i don't got death control overzealous prep work can't protect my goals from the arrow of time, even infects my home even social skills evaporate when practice is abandoned i abandon this society gladly i'd rather vanish than be damaged by an apathetic universe's hammer i never ask the question if failure could be the answer taking steps is easy, but i turn em to catastrophe subtle self-sabotage artist, behold the masterpiece can't see progression, like the whole idea is blasphemy but still petition those in charge to never let me atrophy don't let me atrophy body don't let me atrophy don't let me atrophy, mental, don't let me atrophy don't let me atrophy, spirit, don't let me atrophy don't let me atrophy, ever, i'll never atrophy

Ghost Trains 04:13
apathy's the root of all evil hatred's just belligerent apathy & I practice mad passive apathetic interactions with the masses, when I transit to & from my daily shackles trackin capitol earbuds blast, may humanity vanish without a gasp, may the questions strangers have for me never disturb my trance i built a city of empty buses & ghost trains, any tourists found within these borders is the most strange i'm the most sane, according to my own gauge, & really who's to tell me i'm wrong? it's like there's no space homo sapiens inhabit safe for my own frame, except the place I make in my songs i've taken so long to illustrate years, should call them centuries cursed to let the goddesses tell me what i was sent to be stand-in for the loftiest notions, that we pretend to be failures mean the labels i've fastened can't ever stick to me? i ain't got no scabs, i got armor over open wounds charged within the margins where my marker came too close to truth pacemaker sprockets where my heart tissue is broken too waiting for a comet for departure past a frozen moon open with a chosen few, focused on the moment though the omens of the closing of existence keep approaching so here's hopin someone notices before we all expire we don't need no observation, just a tribe of scribe's desires there's a very real firearm, attached to the stares of every human you encounter who is not of your lair it's like we're all competing species, who need opposite air so we're down to poison everything, til not a soul cares already nobody cares, so what's the honest explanation for a strange footprint in your fortress of isolation time to release the hounds, let em feed to decrease the sounds of any breath of bystanders still tryna keep you down just because you pay rent somewhere, don't make it home someone orderin you around for eight hours don't make you grown everything you've done right, is the only mistakes you own face it no one wants to mate us we're basically wasted souls make it known, that soliloquy surfing will take its toll the weight of experience pounces, to break your bones can't control how the fog machines hinder your ways to glow in case you don't castle up, the dementors might shank your hopes keep retiring the fire, when they call your truth a liar and you wonder if the fur and claws and stripes don't make a tiger they keep calling you a tabby, and your mind is all lolcatty you can has brainwashing doublespeak to keep you from attacking maybe that or maybe massacre, you rabid! who's trained? show these silly mortals where their place is on the food chain try to call you who's name? ain't no need to answer 'less it's savvin up and slashin siamese for actin' panther

air raid sirens, rockets flying, kids crying running to the bunkers, thinking, "this isn't life" isn't right that a family can't sleep through the night less than a minute from the sounds of the sirens to survive make it out alive, wonderin bout a better way today we're all civilians, but we're bound to fight another day those terrorists and radicals intendin to exterminate kamikaze cowards never looking justice in the face this is no way to live all we want is a home, somewhere safe for our kids future warriors cause we ready for jihad when it comes stone throwin savages is gettin dropped by these guns who invented the uzi? opposition feelin woozy hope their necks is turned to Mecca when our weapons get to choosing bullets wedded to their flesh til the death, perish swift another genocidal terrorist at permanent rest... WE'RE SURE YOU STARTED IT, WE'RE GONNA FINISH IT YOU LOVE WAR, WE'RE DEFENDING INNOCENTS CLAIM WE'RE REIGNING TERROR, BUT YOUR ACTIONS MAKE US MILITANT EVERYBODY KNOWS THAT YOU'RE THE SAVAGES WE'RE DEALING WITH YOUR WHOLE PHILOSOPHY'S ATROCITY TRYNA WIPE PEOPLE OFF THE MAP, FORGET THE TALKS OF PEACE WE'RE SO BLESSED AND SO WE HOLD DEATH FINNA GIVE YOU A PRESCRIPTION OF YOUR OWN MEDS rockets flying, kids dying bodies in the rubble, in their eyes there isn't life isn't right that families don't live through the night hear the crash inside your building you're no longer alive tell us not to ally with rocket launching zealots y'all can't tell em from civilians, if we let your weapons tell it mad our militants don't pay you royalties for the terror you hope our spirits break but we adjusted to the weather this is no way to die in the middle of the night without a hope to survive only thing you let us have, is our death and our god a mathematical computation that equates to jihad then you mad at the bombs, you steady lighting the fuses act confused at the explosions deconstructing the roofs try to scare us into not fighting back a deadly cycle and there ain't a portal out of this trap we fire back, like WE'RE SURE YOU STARTED IT, WE'RE GONNA FINISH IT YOU LOVE WAR, WE'RE DEFENDING INNOCENTS CLAIM WE'RE REIGNING TERROR, BUT YOUR ACTIONS MAKE US MILITANT EVERYBODY KNOWS THAT YOU'RE THE INFIDELS WE'RE DEALING WITH YOUR WHOLE PHILOSOPHY'S ATROCITY TRYNA WIPE PEOPLE OFF THE MAP, FORGET THE TALKS OF PEACE WE'RE SO BLESSED AND SO WE HOLD DEATH FINNA GIVE YOU A PRESCRIPTION OF YOUR OWN MEDS WE'RE SURE YOU STARTED IT, WE'RE GONNA FINISH IT YOU LOVE WAR, WE'RE DEFENDING INNOCENTS CLAIM WE'RE REIGNING TERROR, BUT YOUR ACTIONS MAKE US MILITANT EVERYBODY KNOWS THAT YOU'RE THE SAVAGES WE'RE DEALING WITH YOUR WHOLE PHILOSOPHY'S ATROCITY TRYNA WIPE PEOPLE OFF THE MAP, FORGET THE TALKS OF PEACE STILL WE'RE SO BLESSED AND SO WE HOLD DEATH FINNA GIVE YOU A PRESCRIPTION OF YOUR OWN MEDS

Soul Hacker: The symptoms were similar you could tell it was eating away at their soul by the lack of empathy displayed in their last days It was all a haze the way they ignored each other's pain laughed at each other's shortcomings stood on the bloody bodies to feel tall mocked the call to resist the disease that we knew would bury us all O' why they kept coming shooting us down making our mothers cry Dark days felt darker for the darkest ones who had to hide the best parts of themselves in forts incognito Away from those who could not hold them They prayed for those who could not hold them But God said she had given them so many chances Then it happened spasms, screaming, crying You could see it coursing through their veins This wasn't revenge Just reverse entropy They were reaping what they sewed If only they had known the price would be their soul bodies became soul less They were so less living only a fraction of the life they could have had They imploded Folded into themselves There was chaos for a while We mourned the loss of humanity Trying to not be Jonah Swallowed by the whale of grief But we circled back to love But we circled back to love We came back to love Khemmeta: when hate becomes a terminal disease you’ll wake up in the morning and all that you’ll feel is free you’ll look into the mirror and all that you’ll see is glee on the visage of an image just stoked it can call you “me” when you leave a crib, it’s a party on the streets djs bumpin the beats and everyone is glad to meet nobody’s excluded and everyone’s on they feet everyone’s in the kitchen and everyone loves the heat, yo when hate becomes a terminal disease a roof over your head won’t mean a complicated lease your daily life pursuits won’t be choking you like a leash happiness won’t be some improbable mountain peak you’ll climb unhindered by competitive ascenders never have to fork your neighbor’s forearm for your dinner lemonade in the summer; hot chocolate in the winter no need to cheat to win the day everyone is a winner, uh when hate becomes a terminal disease lovers explore each other in whichever way they please no pitchfork lynch mobs await with arcane decrees to segregate the heathenous “they” from the sacred “we” prayers are blessings for neighbors, never curses on foes no need to calculate for their success, vs their woes no need to separate the breath of poetry from our prose love will never be as fleeting as an uprooted rose, but yo when hate becomes a terminal disease priests’ll see that love is the holiest creed to teach christians’ll take heed to what jesus actually preached teachers’ll have pupils whose lives don’t have to be bleak bullying won’t be a rite of passage or a necessary evil as we show our younglings how to live respectfully as equals and especially that "lessar-than's" a crock of fiction better yet, that fam extends and every human is a kinsman when love becomes the only way to live saying, “i hate your face” will be the only way to fib no one will fear success the day jealousy’s made a myth no crabs to grab the ankles when everyone gets uplifted ‘cause, escape velocity needed to evade the poverty on earth won’t be a problem when society puts prophecy a couple hundred steps ahead profit as a priority celebrate our victories, give the people seniority preemptive eagles strike, talons drippin with murder ripping families apart to find justice, it's just absurd toddlers playin cops and robbers near coppers get early burials war’s everywhere, hate’s been terminal so when we learn to halt the pandemic isolate the pathogen inoculate our children before they start displayin symptoms if we can’t cure the sickness, we can say rest in peace to human existence.

Khemmeta's music strives to speak for those who cannot speak for themselves, or are shouted down when they do. His upcoming EP "When I Get To It" produced by Stephonathan (1/3 of both Pride City Purpose & Chedda Guap Boyz) is silly, nerdy, romantic, anti-nihilistic and defiant.
