We stand at the precipice
Solid ground disintegrating next to us
Final bosses making
promises to wreck our stuff
Just another small step
before the quest is done

The stretch across
seems even longer in the wretched sun
Perilous the path,
several obstacles still yet to come
Serpent's temptations
a bluff and a misdirection
All these things
he cannot deliver,
except oblivion

And we don't need Mammon for that
We've gathered the maps,
to lead us outta his traps
He's camouflaged his slimy tentacles
as gravity's grasp
But the light of day reveals deceptions
shrouded with masks

Let the lies burn like meteorites
inside a star’s corona
Hard light of the truth
is a bridge of sturdy stonework
Our destinies await us ahead
Go to, experience shall be the breaker of dread.

I wish I was a true believer with
an ear more attuned
To God's commands, the spirits' whispers
or the ancestors' truths
But right and wrong to me is
clearer than the sphere of the moon
And even when the shape evolves
i try to mirror that too

Out here tryna build brand
outta high horses
Cuz more often than not,
i'm too frightened to intervene
When the enemy's disguised as
conventional wisdom deemed

Undeniable but i gotta
deny the pecking order
that gives some extra equality and
others extra orders

upon us like mini-borders
So enforcers can start building
barriers to keep us sorted

I think it's sordid
they'd have us drawn and quartered
for trespassing on the very same
soil that we were born in
But we've mourned enough
it's time at last to take a breath and just
spread our wings and capture salvation
beyond the precipice
