some san francisco comrades clique-up
at the quaker church to render
peanut butter sandwiches
with jelly, bag em up with
water socks and masks and little
hand sanitizers and
whatever else we have to give

first hit’s free
plus the second and the third
to each according to their need
from each ability to serve
9th and mission 8th and market
we encircle
the whole block until it’s not an empty
hand to be observed

it’s nothing to a boss
yet it’s something to a human being

community we choose to be

trauma’s been constant and fresh

guillotine into Mammon’s neck

you’re thinking of the fucking pigs
you’re thinking of the artificial struggles
you been stuck within cuz
kleptocrats are cutthroat
and they hoarding all the stuff that living

people need so if we wanna
change the world and buck the trend
we gotta learn to hate seeing our
neighbors starve, and love to give
each other what we lack from the
reserves we think will blunt the risks
of life in a society
designed to feed our lunch to big austerity!
